I have a data management exam tmrw worth 30 percent of my mark and also a calculus test tmrw. I did study for both of them but I'm not confident enough that I'll get good marks, so should I pull an allnighter tonight or will it make it worse?

Studies have shown that it's actually better to get a full eight hours of sleep for an exam rather than stay up all night to study. If you sleep then your brain has time to solidify the information that you've already taken in, whereas, if you pull an all-nighter, than you'll be dazed and exhausted for the exam and your brain functions will be down, despite the fact you spent all night studying. Try studying your most difficult parts for an hour or two, then get some rest and eat a full breakfast instead, you'll be thankful for it and it'll work a lot better.

No. You will do horrible and will fail horribly on reading parts. You need your sleep. You should never overwhelm yourself with a bunch of studying a day before the test.

if you dont plan on sleeping at all, go for it, itll be fresh in your mind. otherwise, youre gonna be a groggy mess.
