I've been applying to high schools recently, and last week I got news that i had been accepted into the school of my dreams. This school has been ranked in the top 5 private schools in CA, so I thought that my parents would be ecstatic. Although, I havent received one congrats or positive remark since. Along with my letter of acceptance came my scores on an entrance exam I had taken. On this exam, the ISEE, I scored in the top 3% in the nation. Once again there were no congrats spoken to me. I have always had pride in staying two years above state education levels as well. I know my parents are proud of me, but does the fact that I'm am proud of myself reject me from bearing the right to congrats? I never brag about my accomplishments, I just think it would be nice or even if i deserve a simple congratulations. Thanks in advance.
( Sorry if i bored you. ; ) Basically all I want to know is that since I am aware of my accomplishments and are proud of them, do I deserve congrats?
