So I'm just entering my junior year in high school and I need to know what classes I should be taking. I'm planning on going to college to enter the medical field, recently I had been debating in my head whether or not to be an english major or enter the medical field, and until recently the career in english was winning.

Now that I've realized what a horrible teacher I would make, I need some help choosing the classes that would help me when I enter college, I know that I'll need more science credits than I already have and at my school we really don't start specializing the classes until our junior year.

Please help!

Take your required courses, of course. Then take either an AP biology or chemistry class (don't try to take both AP at once). Statistics would also be useful.

If you want to do something in medicine, then I would recommend taking advanced math (PreCalc/Trig) and science courses (AP Biology, Anatomy). Talk to your guidance counselor, because he/she will know a lot more about what your school can offer you than I will!
