What kind of bullet belts can I wear to my (high) school?

I'm trying to improve my punk appearance and I want to get a belt with inert bullets on it, but I want to be able to wear it to my school. Here is my school's policy on this category (weapons):

Weapons
Weapons or weapon look-alikes are not permitted in [the school], on [school district property], or on school buses. [State] law includes as weapons firearms, knives, cutting tools or any instrument capable of inflicting bodily injury.

...another category is:

Dangerous or Nuisance Materials and Activities
...Possession or use of the following is prohibited: aerosol cans, broad-tipped felt markers, basketballs, firecrackers, Frisbees, skateboards, squirt guns, practical joke items, toys, paging devices, laser pointers, snowballs and other projectiles...

Could you guys tell me if a belt with INERT bullets is okay with tips? And if bullets with tips aren't okay, then what about bullets without tips (just the shell)? I will ask my principal once I get your guy's opinion. Thanks! I really need to know because the punishment for not following any of this is expulsion, and I don't want to get expelled from my school. Thanks again!

Note: Again, I'm wanting a belt with INERT, as in unable to be fired or configured to be fired, bullets. Thanks!

Hmm, well in practical terms, the bullet belts seem to pass two tests that come tomy mind:

1. While they "look like" bullets, bullets themselves are not weapons, and therefore their resemblance cannot be used to threaten someone under the pretext that they are real. Like seriously, have you ever heard of something using just a bullet to rob someone? "Give me your money or I'll hit this against the floor really hard until they go off"

2. They are not nuisance items in that they don't "do" anything. They just sit there and look punk-ish.

As always, clear it with the principle first. Schools are not democracies unfortunately, they are dictatorships. Benevolent ones for the most part, but the principle still has the final say.

I think that the combat clothes and eyebrow piercing may give you the impression if a soldier or someone really tough. Maybe wear some jeans once in a while? Just to remind everyone that you're just like them. I'm not critiquing your style; I personally like combat clothing.

I wouldnt wear it because they could think it an ammunition holding belt and think highly suspicious of you. Especially schools now.1 hint of a possible firearm and your off to ALC.

id wear it, and if they say anything just

change into a different belt(:

orr if they do say something, just read from the handbook to prove that the belt IS NOT a weapon
