Question:
Why is Maths hard and why do the questions have to be so bloody ambigious? Is it a reading test or a Maths test?

Surely it's better to see if the person can do the Maths behind the question and not have to add through all the gobbledygook masquerading as the question.

I just started a Maths class and had to give up as I kept getting angry and frustrated at it and subsequently tore my assignments in half as it felt it was laughing at me. Consequently I've punched a ho,e in the wall, snapped a brio in two, trapped my finger in my symbol cane (as stupidly I was trying to use it as a stress ball when it locked back into place and thus trapping my finger which bloody hurt) and had my parents take my assignments off me as they couldn't handle the stress and rage it was causing.

I associate Maths with failure as I failed my 11+ in it and everyone I've shown my assignments to all agreed they couldn't do it so why is this nonsense lke allgebra fractions etc taught to the masses when most don't get it and won use in their lives. I'd rather die in ignorance of the subject than subject myself to this. Also school maths teachers didn't help

I do have a problem with my trmper, especially when faced with something I cannot do, and in my maths class I can feel it rising up inside me like a fire which then goes down my arms towards my fists which is when I lose it and then tear something up or break something, I've had therapy and was doing well until I started this course, I only wanted to see if I could improve my GCSE grade but doubt I'd pass the test in a thousand years so it's best I leave it

Math is easy. Only ten numbers indifferent configurations. hundred, thousands, millions are only adjectives and their only purpose id to place the decimal point. Math questions are put into word/story form is that in life it is also in that form. How many planks of x by y do you need for a wardrobe zz by aa with 8 shelves. That is a very easy life question.

They have to teach you the basics behind your life mathematics. Because on the street no sum is ever straightforward or easy. From grocery shopping to bargaining for a pay raise.

The point is to test your ability to reason and develop logic. Math is only as hard as you make it. If you and your friends have determined that it's pointless, you will all be left behind. It's an unforgiving world out there.

Maths isn't hard. Although your attitude to it is making it needlessly difficult. Just because all your friends don't understand maths doesn't mean it's useless.

I'd suggest you take steps to deal with your emotional and psychological problems first - then try learning maths.
