The government is sponsoring a project to go around to schools to alter the perceptions and behaviours of children regarding climate change.

See study here:https://www.sciencelearningcentres.org.uk/centres/north-east/climate-change-schools-project/CCSP_evaluation_final_report_July09.pdf

QUOTE:

The project had the following aims:
• To establish the ‘Climate Change Lead Schools’ network;
• To develop an adaptable and creative climate change framework for Key Stages 2
and 3 that may be successfully rolled-out to other regions in the country following
the 2008 – 2009 school year via the CCSP partners;
• To raise awareness and understanding of climate change for young people;
• To promote the North East as the country’s centre of excellence in terms of climate change

- Do you think this is a good thing, or is it too political?

It's outrageous propaganda.

Thankfully, most propaganda eventually fails.

Unfortunately, when people discover that the propagandists lied to them, they reject everything they ever said.

In a couple of years, British citizens will be awestruck with the social and technological superiority of Ethiopia.

This is a complete waste of time and money. Most Teachers are socialists by nature, and they've been peddling Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth" for most of the last decade as if this fantasy was scientific fact. As a result most people under 18 now accept AGW as a proven fact and label skeptics as "Deniers." I'm unsure what the Government thinks they will achieve with more brain-washing, Big Lie propaganda. They will just be preaching to the forcibly converted.

habit an test for example the warmth trapping outcomes of carbon dioxide. Make a tent lined with sparkling plastic. degree the temperature as a function of carbon dioxide. Use dry ice or a small hearth to generate CO2. you need to anticipate the temperature below the tent to upward push with carbon dioxide cutting-edge. be certain the thank you to isolate the CO2 result from the warming that occurs from the tent trapping warmth (like a motor vehicle interior the summertime). this may be achieved outdoors interior the sunlight. for example the poisonous results of CO2, placed some hearth ants below the tent with a huge piece of dry ice. The CO2 gasoline released will suffocate them. degree the time for asphyxiation to take place. As you test you will think of of alternative issues to do. save a chart of time, date and temperature measured for each test.

The science relating to climate change should not be made political,and the science should be taught to our children as they are going to have to deal with it.

I know you are an intelligent person, and therefore know that the planet is warming and as a result we will have to make changes in the near future.So wouldn't it be more constructive to discuss the necessary changes and that could possibly include a little political argument
