This is very easy.See if you are not much familiar with Hindi you take Sanskrit if you think Sanskrit is a new language you can't do then take Hindi. Its not so easy to score even in Sanskrit because Sanskrit will be tough in the summative assessment.I'm not forcing you this is just a suggestion but think carefully.

Sanskrit is the way to go for marks. It is, however, started as early as class V in most schools. You will do better to go with Hindi if you haven't got the prior exposure.

Hi there...
Sanskrit is one of the easiest languages and i bet that you can learn Sanskrit as quick as you learnt Hindi.
It is like mathematics. If you are right, you score full marks but Hindi is a language and you can't score full marks in it although you want to. It is the rule that no one scores full in languages. But Sanskrit is the language in which you can score full marks.
So, to me, you must try your hand in Sanskrit. you will surely benefit from it.
Take care and Njoi life...!!

Sanskrit is easier to score marks in. But if you have previous experience of learning only Hindi and not Sanskrit, I suggest you go for Hindi only.Cbse level is easier than ICSE

If you work hard, you can get cent percent no. in sanskrit as compared to hindi. Sanskrit is like Mathematical. Full no. is awarded in Sanskrit.

SANSKRIT IS EASY FOR SCORING MARKS.
IF U LEARN SANSKRIT GRAMMAR U CAN GET FULL MARKS.
IN HINDI QUE. & ANS.,ESSAY THEY WILL NOT GIVE FULL
MARKS BUT IN SANSKRIT THEY HAVE TO DO SO

if u knoe hindi, sanskrit is really easy at d primary level but after dat, it's damn tough cuz u have to write detailed answers in SANSKRIT and i'm warning u, it takes one whole minute to pronounce one single wordd!!!!!
so i advice u to continue with hindi cuz yr familiar with it AND u'll b confident that it'll b easy.....
