I say no and it's happening in our school as well. I dare them to do that to me. I promise you I will fight it all the way. It's none of the schools business what you post on facebook. It's not on school grounds they have no right it's out of there jurisdictions. You can post what ever you would like about your superintendent, It's called freedom of speech.

Your school will have you believe that they can but, as long as what you are posting is factual, there is very little they can legally do. If they attempt to suspend you, especially for something like that (providing it is true), I'd have a lawyer put them through the ringer. If/When they pull you into the office to "discuss" the posting on FB, point out that what you are saying is true. If they say you will be suspended, remind them that it is fact and you will put it to court if need be and that you don't feel safe or confident with a drunk superintendent in your school.

If they are smart they will back down immediately. If not, give them all the public exposure you can give them.

Have fun.

If your not a student, why should you care? Teacher? But anyway I wouldn't think so. I'm a student at a high school where we have ID's that we need in order to walk in the hallway, and someone from my school made a group "whenever Mr.______ checks someone's ID in the hallway, I slowley walk away and pretend I didn't see him." and nothing happened to him so if it's anything you think is simalar than go ahead. You might have a problem with the superindendent personally if he finds out of course.

If private, yes. If public, no.

You can take whoever told you you were banned; or even the whole school before the state board of education, claiming that you have been denied education for an unjust and unclarified reason. Reinstatement? I think so.

A school should be allowed to ban any non-student for any reason.

If the school/county/school system/township has reason to believe the person is a dangerous or disruptive, it has every right to ban a person.
