How much revision should I be doing?

I have my first GCSE exam in ten days but I'm really unsure of how much revision I should be doing. Currently, I'm aiming to do at least an hour a day. However, all of my friends are doing way more which is starting to scare me. Also, I lack motivation to revise for more than an hour, so any tips on that? Any help would be much appreciated. :)

It really depends on the sort of person you are. Many people need to do a lot of revision whereas others find they do well in exams naturally with barely any revision at all.

An hour a day sounds plenty to me, but if you really want to do more I found singing really loudly helped to keep me motivated. Sticking Post it notes all over the house is a good idea too, if you just write small relevant details on them that are likely to come up in the exam then just walking past them keeps them fresh in your memory. Or maybe just talking about what you have to revise to a friend or a parent could help, communicating rather than just reading it over and over again is definitely helpful.

We all learn in different ways. You need to find the way that works for you. If you are bored restless or just not motivated then the method you are using is not working. After all you cannot revise that which was never learned in the first place.

I have my first in 9 days. Lol. I haven't actually started but I know what I'm doing. I'd say 2 hours spread over the whole day is good, and thats like almost a day of revision time in 10 days

There are 2 solutions here; You revise and bypass with A's and B's, gadgets a stable beginning up for existence now on, stable activity, funds ect or you do no longer revise, scrape by utilising with C's and in simple terms passes. you won't have as many reports as you are able to with intense grades yet then, who cares in the journey that your going to die besides? you are able to consistently do resits, night instructions. relies upon no rely in case you like a mediocre existence or no longer.
