1)Keep a separate binder for each class, sectioned by tab dividers for warm ups, lessons (notes), homework, graded papers, and tests and quizzes.
2)Check your locker every day, before and after school (in between if possible), and make sure everything is very organized and ready for the short transition between classes. If you are experiencing problems with your locker (i.e. it jams all the time or it is totally out of the way of everything) talk to a janitor or counselor and see if you can get a new one.
3)I would take two books to each class (i.e. 1st and 2nd period, go get new books, 3rd and 4th, lunch? get books, 5th and so on). If it takes a few weeks to get around, talk to your teachers or the principal, and tell them your situation, explain your concerns if you are worried they won't believe you.
4)As I said in #3, carry 2 around, then switch out. Talk to the principal about possibly switching you locker area, or carrying a small bag around.
5) On the first day, I would get to school about 25-30 minutes before the first bell, in order to make sure you know where all of your classes are, find friends to compare schedules, fix any last minute mess ups, etc. The first week I would get there about 20 minutes early, and then the rest of the year you will be okay.
6) Bullies are everywhere, there is no avoiding them. You just need to be yourself in high school, otherwise you will be bullied even more. Who you are in high school can change your whole future! I would say they are about a 4, they are pretty neutral if you ignore them. Most of the bullies are either those ego-lacking older kids or the bratty, "popular" girls who have nothing better to do.
7)Trust me, you will know at least ONE person in your lunch, there are no worries. Depending on how many lunch periods there are, you are bound to have an old friend, a new friend, or someone you never got the chance to meet in middle school to sit with. That is where you can meet new people.
8)Okay, don't worry. I would say you need to change it once you get up in the morning, maybe at lunch, and then after school. That should be about 6-8 hours each, so you don't need to worry. Stay calm, you will make it, I promise:)
9) Just do all of the little things you wrote in your question to your uniform, they sound really cool! They are definitely going to make you unique. Just promise yourself that you won't change your ways for someone else, or to fit into a new crowd.
10)I'm sorry that you have gone through those things, times can get very tough. I understand that you are now a little self-conscious about your arms, and maybe you can explain your "problems" to the school counselor, someone you trust. They might be able to allow you to wear like a sweater or something. You could wear a lot of different bracelets, like halfway up your arm, and that might divert the attention from the cuts and bruises. I want you to promise for yourself that you will stop cutting and hurting yourself, if you need to, talk to someone instead of turning to self-physical abuse.
I want you to enjoy your high school experience, it is sure to go by fast. Live it how YOU want to live it, and try not to worry. Everyone will get through it:) I promise!:)
