1)All of my stuff is by color. My science notebook, binder, and folder is green, math is purple, english is pink, history is blue, etc. Get a planner, assignment, or small notebook to write everything in, notes, projects, due dates and regular homework. Make copies of your schedule to put in your planner and locker.

2)If you carry everything with you the first few days, you'll be glad you have one! Know your lock code, but for the first 2-3 weeks, write it in your planner. You can bring pictures, a mirror, little organizers, whatever you want.

3) Again, subjects by color help with this. You open your locker, grab everything of one color, and go. Try to keep your stuff grouped by class. If you have your locker organized, getting your books and supplies should take a minute or less. You should have time to get to class. Whatever you do, don't run! You'll end up talking to a teacher and be late anyway.

4)Use your binder as a base, and stack all your books and supplies on top. Use your locker. Carry no more books than necessary.

5) Get there about 15 minutes early the first day to find your locker.

6)At my school, 1-2

7) Make new friends, or read/do homework.

8) Leave lunch a bit early and change, or ask your teacher to let you go at the very end of class after you have finished everything,

9)There's really not many ways. Change your hairstyle around often, and be creative with a bit of make-up, but do NOT go overboard with it.

10) If your uniform shirt is red, wear a long sleeved blue one under it. Keep a compact in your purse the same color as your skin to cover it up.

Good Luck in high school! And, really, it's not as bad as you think. These are some of the best years. Just stay away from drama, and have some fun. :)

Ok first of all BREATHE!!! Haha ok I'm currently a freshman in a private high school so I can sympathize with u on that one.. Haha

1.Different binder for each class...most teachers will already tell u this and listen... Trust me it will SAVE ur life!! And don't forget dividers..like for homework or tests and stuff like that...also make sure u hv files at home for when u need to empty ur binder so that u don't lose any papers in case u need em again..

2. lockers will save u too...especially if u can't carry around totes... Make sure u KNO UR COMBO and how to open a lock!!! I hv been late to my class one too many tomes because of this... Just make sure u hv something where u can write ur combo down if u forget it... Like if u hv a calender/organizer that u write all ur homework on write it down like on ur birthday or something...also be sure u kno when ur locker area is most busy like after school or between break or something so kno when to go and get ur stuff..

3. You'll figure this out on ur own..it took me a few months in to figure out all the shortcuts and when my locker area is busiest and which teachers will let u go to ur locker during class... If ur locker is really crowded right before a class then be sure to carry the stuff for that class in the class before..

4. Just make sure u use ur locker... Trust me it will be amazing... I use like a trader joes bag to carry my extra stuff when I get too lazy to go to my locker... But just make sure u hv a big backpack and kno ur locker..

5. I'd be there prolly 20 mins early at least.. Just so u can figure out where all ur classes r and where ur locker is and how to open it and all that hood stuff:)

6. I'd say 2 at most.. I go to an all girls school and there's no bullying but I went to a public school before and there wasn't much there either..bullying is overrated... Ppl make such a big deal outta it but really most schools don't even have bullies..don't stress..

7. Trust me ur gonna find new friends... Odds r by the end of freshman year you'll kno who ur real friends r and who u shudnt hang with... I'm at a school where none of my jr High friends went to.. And I found a great group of friends and trust me I'm not the most social... If ur friends aren't there then go up to some group and just jump in.. You'll prolly kno someone from another class by the tome lunch comes along so you'll be fine!!!

8. Keep a ready supply of pads in ur locker.. And go change at break or before school starts... Eventually you'll learn how to utilize that 3 min passing period to go to the bathroom and get ur books from ur locker and still get to class on time.. It's an amazing skill that takes a bit to learn.. But you'll get there:)

9. It all depends on how much u can do with ur uniform.. With my school we can wear any jewlery and do about anything with our hair and makeup unless it's crazy out there... Being at an all girls school, no one really cares what u look Like so no one really uses this too much.. But yeah have fun with duct tape and we usually go crazy with our backpacks...that's how we have fun...paint ur nails cool colors and make a statement! If ur at a private school odds r that everyone has been raised the same way and no one really cares about what u look like.. So have fun with it!!

10. Bracelets, long sleeves, makeup... I cut too and have just made it a habit to wake up everyday and put makeup on my wrist...throw on some cute bracelts and a long sleeved shirt... If ur school has a sweatshirt they let u wear then wear that.. That's what I do.. Otherwise just go with the average excuse of "my dog did it" or "I scratched myself on the fence" odds are that most ppl won't even notice..

Good luck!!!!! And don't stress'nn

1. Organization for binders: dividers. They help a lot. Make sure to make every binder different somehow, like different colors so you don't accidentally grab the wrong one on the way to class. Every assignment in your classes should be kept in the notebook for that class. You can learn something by looking back over past tests and whatnot. Take notes and be sure to keep them in order (nothing's worse than not being able to find that ONE sheet of notes the test is on). I like to separate my notes according to what test it's on.

2. Lockers: you will love your locker! Get a lock if your lockers don't already have them. Make sure you remember the combination. When you have time practice it a few times to commit it to memory. You could also get a key lock, but don't lose the key. I know lockers seem strange, but you will really appreciate not having to carry all that crap around! And you won't have to take your books home if you don't need them because you can just put them in the locker. You can get little shelves and things for your locker. Put pictures and things up inside to personalize it. Or maybe a little schedule on your locker door. Think of it as a functional personal closet at school.

3.3 minutes to class: Walk swiftly, don't run because teachers may stop you (they did in my school). Do not stop to talk to people. Politely tell them that you have class and you will talk to them later. You can also talk to your teacher and explain the situation, they may let you be a minute or two late (but do NOT abuse this). Get good at your combination so you're not wasting time trying to remember it.

4.Carrying books: carry as little as possible. Have separate, small notebooks for each class so you're not carrying anything too massive. Only take what you will need for your next class (or maybe the one after if you will have no time.) Utilize your locker.

5. For the first day you should get to school early enough to learn your way around. Find your locker and where it is in relation to your classes. Find all the major places like the cafeteria, the office, and the library. You may also want to introduce yourself to your teachers, make a good first impression. After the first day get to school early enough to be able to get your books and get to class, or earlier if you want to socialize.

6. Bullying issues really depends on the school. If you are bullied tell a teacher. If they don't do anything keep telling officials until something is done. Make sure to talk to your parents about this because they can have some leverage with the office and school officials if you are being bullied.

7. Lunch: if none of your friends are at your lunch try making some friends. Make a friend in a class before your lunch period and ask if you can sit with them. If that doesn't appeal to you, you can take a book and read or listen to music.

8. Monthly thing: explain the situation to the teacher, they may let you go to the bathroom. Try to find time to take care of things like that during lunch and any other free time you have.

9. Uniforms: I don't know about uniforms, I went to a public school. I would just advise that you make sure that whatever you do won't get you in trouble. Read the dress code and do anything you want that isn't mentioned. Maybe different colored stockings or whatever. Have fun with it!

10. Maybe continue wearing arm warmers or wear an undershirt beneath your uniform. Or you could apply make up. Long gloves might work. Don't call attention to your wrists though. Or you could stop doing it, that's probably the best option. People can sometimes be put off by people who do these sorts of things and in high school rumors spread fast.

1)Keep a separate binder for each class, sectioned by tab dividers for warm ups, lessons (notes), homework, graded papers, and tests and quizzes.

2)Check your locker every day, before and after school (in between if possible), and make sure everything is very organized and ready for the short transition between classes. If you are experiencing problems with your locker (i.e. it jams all the time or it is totally out of the way of everything) talk to a janitor or counselor and see if you can get a new one.

3)I would take two books to each class (i.e. 1st and 2nd period, go get new books, 3rd and 4th, lunch? get books, 5th and so on). If it takes a few weeks to get around, talk to your teachers or the principal, and tell them your situation, explain your concerns if you are worried they won't believe you.

4)As I said in #3, carry 2 around, then switch out. Talk to the principal about possibly switching you locker area, or carrying a small bag around.

5) On the first day, I would get to school about 25-30 minutes before the first bell, in order to make sure you know where all of your classes are, find friends to compare schedules, fix any last minute mess ups, etc. The first week I would get there about 20 minutes early, and then the rest of the year you will be okay.

6) Bullies are everywhere, there is no avoiding them. You just need to be yourself in high school, otherwise you will be bullied even more. Who you are in high school can change your whole future! I would say they are about a 4, they are pretty neutral if you ignore them. Most of the bullies are either those ego-lacking older kids or the bratty, "popular" girls who have nothing better to do.

7)Trust me, you will know at least ONE person in your lunch, there are no worries. Depending on how many lunch periods there are, you are bound to have an old friend, a new friend, or someone you never got the chance to meet in middle school to sit with. That is where you can meet new people.

8)Okay, don't worry. I would say you need to change it once you get up in the morning, maybe at lunch, and then after school. That should be about 6-8 hours each, so you don't need to worry. Stay calm, you will make it, I promise:)

9) Just do all of the little things you wrote in your question to your uniform, they sound really cool! They are definitely going to make you unique. Just promise yourself that you won't change your ways for someone else, or to fit into a new crowd.

10)I'm sorry that you have gone through those things, times can get very tough. I understand that you are now a little self-conscious about your arms, and maybe you can explain your "problems" to the school counselor, someone you trust. They might be able to allow you to wear like a sweater or something. You could wear a lot of different bracelets, like halfway up your arm, and that might divert the attention from the cuts and bruises. I want you to promise for yourself that you will stop cutting and hurting yourself, if you need to, talk to someone instead of turning to self-physical abuse.

I want you to enjoy your high school experience, it is sure to go by fast. Live it how YOU want to live it, and try not to worry. Everyone will get through it:) I promise!:)
