what are the cons of middle school recess?

I am doing a debate project and I am in the anti recess in middle school side.
I already have:
Recess makes longer school days
it gives bullies an opportunity
recess costs money.
Any other cons -or even pros!- would help extremely
Any ideas??!!
please try to explain why

this is an absurd debate.

Would any adult be willing to work for 6-7 hours a day without a break period to chat or be physically active and freely engaged with their peers?

Recess is a place out of the realm of scrutiny from the student's higher ups for a brief period of the day.



Recess costing money is not a con, it is just a fact, everything done in school costs money, would you also argue to stop serving students lunch?



You need to work a little harder on making your debate points logically coherent.

But what an absurd thing to be debating, it makes my blood boil

recess takes time out of the academic day giving students less opportunity to learn (which would be a pro if your audience is students but a con if your audience is adults) hope i could help!

Injuries? In winter people play on the ice and slip. n summer people fall on cement and stuff.
